Navratri Samagri, Kits & Fresh Flowers

Navratri runs for nine nights of Durga worship, beginning with Kalash (Ghatasthapana) sthapana — kalash, jau for the barley bed, mango leaves, coconut, red chunri and an akhand jyoti that stays lit through the festival. Many families also fast, which means a separate kitchen list: kuttu and singhara atta, sendha namak, sabudana and ghee.

On Ashtami and Navami comes Kanya Pujan, with halwa, puri, chana and small gifts for the girls. You can pre-book a Navratri kit that covers the puja setup, stock the vrat groceries, and order Kanya Pujan supplies together, all delivered before the festival.

Delivery covers Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Delhi.

Navratri worships nine forms of the goddess Durga across nine nights, one form honoured each day, building up to Durga Ashtami and Navami and then Dussehra — the day Ravana is defeated, marking the victory of good over evil. There are technically four Navratris in the Hindu calendar each year, but the one widely celebrated across North India is Sharad Navratri, which falls in the autumn month of Ashwin, shortly before Diwali.

Across Delhi NCR, the festival is visible everywhere — Ram Lila grounds host nightly performances building to the Dussehra effigy burning, residential societies in Noida, Gurugram and Ghaziabad organise garba and dandiya nights through the nine days, and many households keep at least a partial fast, which is why vrat grocery items like kuttu atta, singhara atta and sendha namak see a genuine demand spike in the days before the festival starts. Kanya Pujan on Ashtami or Navami — feeding and gifting young girls as forms of the goddess — is often the one ritual every household observes even if the rest of the nine days are kept lightly.
